Day 3 of the conference focused on transforming lessons learnt into tangible outcomes. The morning began with a two-hour exhibition and interactive workshops led by United Nations speakers, followed by collaborative sessions where youth delegates developed action plans, with the ultimate aim of developing measurable, sustainable and viable solutions.
Death is a lesson every person must face in life. How should one face others and oneself in this process? Through a two-day mindfulness workshop, volunteers learned to care for patients and care recipients while also attending to their own emotions.

Do you get enough rest every day? During this year’s Youth Day, Tzu-Chi Foundation (Singapore) hosted a large-scale initiative cum fundraising event, SYNC. Festival, to promote the concept of sustainable wellbeing.
True rest is not about 'doing nothing'. At SYNC. Festival 2025, young people were invited to explore ways to nourish and balance various aspects of the self, including the mind, emotions, senses, body, social relationships, creativity and spirituality.
It all began with one question: “What does it look like to take care of ourselves, each other, and the planet — at the same time?” Conversations sparked ideas, which translated into actions. Tzu-Chi Foundation (Singapore) now presents SYNC. Festival, an annual community wellness movement that empowers youth to take charge of their own wellbeing while inspiring them to champion green causes to save the planet.
Silver storks, kingfishers, mudskippers, ospreys… animals rarely seen in our city landscape were adopted as names for the teams in the 2025 Tzu Chi Teenagers’ Camp. And they also represented the wildlife that they hoped to come across during the camp. So, what other novel experiences awaited the Tzu Shaos on Kukup Island?
In a world driven by expectations and consumerism, this reflection calls us to slow down, question the status quo, and rediscover what it truly means to live with purpose. To further explore and inspire more mindful, intentional living, Tzu Chi held the ALT. FEST on 14 and 15 June 2025 at the Tzu Chi Humanistic Youth Centre.
How do teenagers express their gratitude to their parents on Parents’ Day? Some parents shared that such intimate interaction such as foot bathing are rare at home, but the heartfelt atmosphere created by Tzu Chi makes the experience natural and heartening.
"Oil-free, sugar-free and low-salt, can food really taste good this way?" In response to this question by seniors at the Active Ageing Carnival 2025, Tzu Chi Food Farmacy volunteers responded with a smile, "We use the natural flavours of ingredients and preserve the essence of the food, making it both healthy and delicious!"
This year’s Hari Raya Festive Gathering held special meaning for renal patient Muhammad Hisham. Just before the festive season, he was hospitalised due to a wound infection and missed the chance to reunite with his relatives. Being able to attend the Tzu Chi celebration with his mother and share the festive joy with fellow attendees, made this experience especially warm and precious for him.
"Where your time is, your life is." Opening the talk with these steady, thoughtful words, Lin Tien-Lai, Chief Brand Officer of the Tzu Chi Culture and Communication Foundation, set the tone for the evening.

The Lantern Festival symbolises the end of the Lunar New Year celebrations. On 16 February 2025, which is the 19th day of the first lunar month, Tzu Chi volunteers specially visited the Institute of Mental Health (IMH) to provide ongoing care and celebrate the New Year with the residents.
